There will be two informational meetings. It is mandatory for all interested in trying out to attend ONE of the two meeetings. Options are Monday, March 8th @ 1:15pm or Wednesday, March 10th @ 6:16pm.



The tryout clinic will be held over 3 days - March 22, 23 & 24. This is where you will learn all of the tryout material such as jumps, motions, cheers and a short dance routine. The final audition will be on Friday, March 26th.

In addition to performing the skills involved and demonstrating athletecism, cheerleaders will be expected to maintain above a 2.5 GPA, be role models in their school/community, and be ambassadors for Sequoia. Discipline issues or low academic success will impact your score and/or ability to be chosen for the team. Potential cheerleaders should also be aware that cheerleading is a big time and financial commitment.
