Sequoia High School

Today, we played at Woodside HS and tied 1-1.  The first goal came unexpectedly at the 3rd minute of the first half.  Woodside took advantage of the goalie's distraction with a hard kick that bounced off the goalie's hands.  Sequoia's boys knew they have no time to waste and came back within 2 minutes and scored their tie goal.  Alan Conchas crossed the ball to center, Juan Ramirez tried to send it in but it was unsuccessful.  Luckily for Sequoia Jose Avalos was attentive and headed it into net.  Our record is now 13-1-4, 8-1-3 PAL.
